This report was part of a larger usability venture involving the iWestern app (later renamed the WesternU Mobile app) at the University of Western Ontario. My colleagues and I worked to advise Western's Mobile Applications Group (MAG) in the development of new features for the app.
The research was carried out as a means of fulfilling the requirements of LIS 9706: Human-Computer Interaction, which was a component of the Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS) programa at Western. All work was completed under the guidance of Dr. Lu Xiao, head of the Human-Information Interaction Research Lab (HIIL) in Western's Faculty of Information and Media Studies (FIMS).
